Currently, we provide mySQL as welll as postgreSQL.

Firstly, you should only really mess with SQL if you know why you need it. Creation of databases/accounts is done via edgewebmaster and it's various tools within. We will not provide support on how to use your database in scripts, etc.
A useful tool is available for administering the tables in your databases, etc. and because of that we may never have such functions available in our control panel. We have however setup that software at phpmyadmin.edgenetwork.org for (mySQL) or phppgadmin.edgenetwork.org (for postgreSQL). Your 'login' is the username/password you've chosen. It's advisable to setup one username with access to all your databases.
However one piece of information you will need is the hostname to connect to. For your websites this will be mysql.edgenetwork.org, and respectively pgsql.edgenetwork.org.
